Emily has extensive experience with children, not only in a mental health capacity, but also as a substitute teacher for local schools prior to completing her master’s degree. Emily’s desire to be a therapist and work with children and families comes from her own personal experience with mental illness within her family and strong desire to help others. She enjoys helping others to find their strengths, see their own potential, and be successful. “I know the power of having someone believe in you, and I really enjoy helping my clients to find their strengths and start believing in themselves! I consider it a privilege to work with people as a therapist, and I value the trust that is placed in me as I walk with people through some of the most difficult times in their life. My goal for my clients is to have a non-judgmental, safe, and empowering experience in therapy.” |
